Every patient has different needs and preferences. If you are dealing with heart health issues, you need trustworthy information so you can find the doctor who is right for you.
Check out the cardiology report card to find a doctor best for your unique values and preferences. The report card scores doctors based on results from patient surveys. It also uses the heart care performance scores from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
The report card measures a few different areas of care, including:
- Getting an appointment;
- Length of wait times;
- Patient communication;
- Helping you stay healthy;
- Results with heart care; and
- Prescribing safe, effective medicine.
You can use the report card to choose a doctor who stands out in ways that are important to you.
